About Drew

Originally from Portage, Michigan, Drew Belt graduated from Ferris State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Professional Golf Management. Prior to being named Director of Instruction at Tupelo Country Club in 2019, Drew served as the Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Mississippi, where he helped the team set more than 22 school records and compete in the NCAA National Championship for the first time in program history.  Before moving to Mississippi, he was the Head Golf Professional at West Lake Country Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Since then, Drew has become one of the most sought-after instructors in the Gulf States Region. With more than 30,000 hours of instruction delivered through private lessons, group clinics, and comprehensive coaching programs, Drew has earned recognition on the Golf Digest Best in State list for 2026–2027.

A PGA of America Class A member since 2006, Drew’s list of students includes Web.com and PGA Tour winners, LPGA Tour players, NCAA National Champions, club and state champions, and top-ranked junior golfers. He was named a US Kids Golf Top 50 Instructor in the United States and is a regular contributor on the SuperTalk Mississippi sports radio morning show. In recognition of his impact on junior golf, Drew was also the recipient of the 2025 Young Player Development Award from the Gulf States PGA Section for outstanding achievements in youth player development.
